LOCATION: Cowell (SA)
This fabulous fish was a very unexpected BIG THING discovery!
Constructed from wooden slats, this is one of three sea creatures that we found side by side in the seaside town of Cowell.
FORKS AND POTATOES 🍴 🥔
LOCATION: On the Princes Highway between Yarragon and Trafalgar (VIC)
This BIG THING is a firm favourite amongst #TeamALPHABET.
It's BIG. It's ART. And it's wonderfully unusual.
This sculpture was created in 2008 — the year of the potato (brilliant!) — to celebrate local agriculture, and (of course) the importance of spuds for the region.
LOCATION: Eulo (QLD)
We almost drove straight passed this fabulous BIG THING! (Fortunately one of our team needed a bathroom break...).
This filled-neck lizard can be found surveying the world from its lofty perch in the remote outback town of Eulo.
The town has a population of around 95, but swells to around 5000 during August / September — for the annual lizard racing event
LOCATION: Molong (NSW)
This frog on a tricycle was found in a scrap metal yard in Molong amongst an incredible collection of other artworks.
