THE BIG...

GIRL 👧

LOCATION: Eumundi (QLD)

This Big Girl has a very serious message.

This sculpture was built as a thank you to all those people who lost their innocence fighting in wars — so that the majority of us could keep ours.

It's a beautiful, thought-provoking sculpture.

GOLD MINER

LOCATION: Ballarat (VIC)

This realistically sculpted gold miner was unveiled in 1988 — outside the Gold Rush Mini Golf course on the outskirts of Ballarat.

It was built as a tribute to the tens of thousands of gold prospectors who visited the area around during the second half of the last century.

GUITAR 🎸

LOCATION: Narrandera (NSW)

This Big Guitar is not only BIG, it is also PLAYABLE! (Although it is desperately in need of a tune...).

We discovered this fantastic stringed instrument in the picturesque town of Narrandera at the Visitor Information Centre. It was built by Robert Palmer in 1988 (taking over 300 hours...) to celebrate the local Country Music Club.
